I may be back...

It's been a really, really long time!  Kinda strange...but I miss xanga.  I miss writing.  I have times when things are so strong on my heart I want to write them down but find that there are no means to do so.  So I end up keeping it all in.

I'm happy right now...and I mean I'll always happy...but I mean I'm happy where my life is right now.  The direction it's headed (even though I have no idea specifically).  I like my friends!  I miss some old.  I was talking to Marisa the other night and there are times that I wish I could make a town called Jennyville and everyone who lives there are people who have meant a lot to me in my life and new people can come in but no one can leave and there will be nothing but joy and laughter and tears because people are happy and there will be no pain and sorrow and anger and frustration.  A town where everyone would live!  When I got to thinking of this "special" place I realized that everything I said is what I've always imagined heaven to be somewhat like.  Although more people would be there than I can imagine and the people would be there praising God Almighty and not just playing with me...

But hey...it's possible to have heaven on earth...at least the little things...isn't it?  To be surrounded by the people you've loved at one time or another in life in one accord praising our Heavenly Father.  Ignorance not being a part of life...joy every where you look...I mean it's possible isn't...isn't it.

I miss people...ha...life...what would it be like if we didn't grow?

Why me?  Why am I so lucky?  Why do I get SO many blessings?  Why do I not have to live through tragedy?  Why me?

God has never brought me down.  He's never sent doubt my way!  There's always hope and always joy even through the darkest hour.  So why me?

Because I am blessed!

When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed.  When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord hath done. 

 Are you ever burdened with a load of care?  Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?  Count your many blessings every doubt will fly, and you will be singing as the days go by.

When you look at others with their lands and gold, think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold; count your blessings, money cannot buy your reward from heaven, nor your home on high.

So, amid the conflict, whether great or small, Do not be discouraged, God is over all; Count your many blessings, angels will attend, Help and comfort give you to your journey's end.

Count your blessings name them one by one; count your blessings see what God hath done; Count your blessins name them one by one; count your many blessings see what God hath done.

I was doing my quiet time last night and decided to look at some hymns...I let my fingers do the finding as I just opened up the hymnal to this...what a perfect prayer for life!

"Make room within my heart, O God, that you may form in me the image you have shown in Christ, my very life to be.  Inspire my thoughts, O lofty one, to reach the highest plane, that i may know the mind of Christ and him as greatest gain.  Direct my will, O King of Kings, subject it to your own that every impulse, action, word may make your kingdom known.  Effect my prayer, great Trinity, eternal three in one; combine each part of me to praise the Father, Spirit, Song."

Make me strip of my flesh so people can see only you!!

Have you ever seen the moon and a lightning storm?  I have...it's AMAZING!

It's comforting for me to know that behind the clouds and smog the stars are still there!  And behind temptation and sin light still shines through and we're given another chance to gaze on God's beauty and to know that no matter what all will clear up and you can return to the place that you saw Him in his full glory, or even better!
